Private Guided Tour Marais District October 5th 2026

Starting from the Ile Saint Louis let’s walk to the Marais district across the River for a stroll in the Marais, focusing on architecture and lifestyle: 
On this stroll we will explore iconic food and shopping venues such as Les Merveilleux, Mariage Frères, Trudon candle store, L’appartement Français as well as the Merci Concept store. Along the way, we can experience the picturesque houses on rue des Barres and combine it with unique fashion and deco stores on rue du Pont Louis Philippe, we’ll make the most of the South Marais with a walk past Hotel de Sens, Jardins Saint Paul which offers a few interesting artisan stores, then on to rue Saint Paul for more antique and elegant craft stores. When reaching the busy rue Saint Antoine, I would like to veer to the West on to rue du Bourg Tibourg for l’Appartement Français, the Mariage Frères tea shop and Trudon candle store, it is a more confidential shopping street than rue des Francs Bourgeois, which we would still walk along to reach the hidden garden behind Hotel de Soubise.
Walking back East I would like to show the hidden side of a famous clothes store, we would end our stroll near Place des Vosges, with a peek at the Hotel de Sully hidden garden and courtyard and finishing with the Merci Concept store.
