A condensed private tour of a spectacular museum!
This guided tour will put in context major artworks on display, from the Realism of Millet, Courbet, Daumier, through Impressionist masterpieces by Monet, Renoir, Sisley and many more, and post impressionist Van Gogh and Gauguin until the floral explosions of Art Nouveau decorative arts.
We will explore the influence of geo-political events and technical progress over art in the late 19th/early 20th century in France.
The tour contents and artworks/sections visited in the museum are subject to the current display (some artworks may be on loan). It will be customized according to your taste and interest. (Millet, Monet, Manet, Renoir, Van Gogh, Gauguin).

RV @ 9:15AM on Tuesday November 25th next to the small elephant statue in front of the Musée d'Orsay.

Artworks on display at the Orsay Museum regularly change, it may happen that on the day of your visit some famous artworks such as Starry Night or the Moulin de la Galette are not on display.
